‘At The Seaside’ is the new single from Manchester band pyncher. The band have headed in a shoegaze direction with this new cut. It drifts from its tense, suspenseful and almost gothic-sounding opening, into a hazy wash of atmosphere, before settling into a heavy, noisy outro. They explain that the track “is about trying to let go of the past and realising it’s still lingering in your head. It’s a raw one, and I think because of that, there’s some honesty there - it holds a special place for all four of us.” Catch the band live at Brighton Psych-Fest at the end of August. -Dan Peeke
